I am going on a 30 day trip in the mountians. I have never bought hiking boots before. What are the best brands? I also need to know what socks I need to buy for the trip.

Im looking to spend under 150 on the boots….

The trip will take place in late July into Aug.
I will be carrying about 70 lbs of gear

I was curious if anybody has womens columbia Bugabootoo boots or the bugalicous boots? I need to know if they run small? I wear a size 6 normally. With thicker socks on for winter, would I need to buy a 1/2 size bigger or my normal 6. I will say Thank You now.
